The old picture of the gas station above is from the 1930s. The picture next to it is how it looks today. It is a landmark in Mineral Point and is very noticeable when driving down Fountain Street. The building is all steel, including the roof, although it doesn't appear to be.
The living room has a 46" flat screen TV. It has access to over the air stations and a Netflix account that is provided. A standard DVD player is also provided.
The plaster medallion and crown molding above is in the master bedroom and was uncovered during restoration in 2014. The parlor has a sleeper sofa and can be closed off with the pocket doors shown. The kitchen cabinets and hardware were restored and are from the 1950s.
A full kitchen with utensils and new stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, is ready to go. The kitchen has a small counter height table in it as well. The large covered deck is right off the kitchen where a there is plenty of seating. A gas grill is available for use on the uncovered portion of the deck.
The master bedroom, second bedroom and the covered porch with gas grill is just off the kitchen.
